For the week of May 17th, 2021 through May 23rd, 2021 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 54 calls for service. Some of the calls for service include aggravated assault, assault, break and enter, child welfare act, family relations act, health act, items lost/ found, mental health act, traffic collisions, theft of vehicles, uttering threats, and trespassing at night.
The Beaumont RCMP conducted 48 traffic stops, resulting in three charges under the Traffic Safety Act.
Schools have opened up to in person learning, please be careful when driving through school zones. School zones are monitored by RCMP, Community Peace Officers and ATE for the safety of the public.
The RCMP impaired driving initiative for the May long weekend was a success. Beaumont RCMP officers did not locate any impaired drivers. Beaumont RCMP would like to thank the community for being responsible drivers for not drinking and driving.
