The City of Beaumont is recruiting residents to fill 14 openings across 7 Council advisory boards and committees, with applications open until September 11, 2026.

Advisory committees are how residents bring their ideas and experience into the City’s decision-making. Each one looks at a different part of city life, from the arts to policing to recreation, and makes recommendations to City Council.

Positions are open to Beaumont residents, and most don’t require special experience or a background in municipal work. What matters is that you care about the topic and want to get involved.

Here’s what’s open this round:

  • Youth Advisory Committee brings forward issues that affect young people, from mental health supports to civic engagement.

Council appoints members based on interest and willingness to take part. Applying doesn’t guarantee a seat, but new voices are always welcome.
