Important grant information

Micro Grants are reviewed on a monthly basis on the 10th of each month, with grant approval on or before the 25th of the same month. The program closes for the year when the total funding is allocated, or December 31 (whichever comes first).

Micro Grants

The Micro Grants program is one of four funding streams within the Beaumont Municipal Grant Funding Program. Micro Grants support initiatives that bolster community spirit and contribute to an enhanced quality of life and sense of belonging in Beaumont. Projects supported include, but are not limited to neighbourhood or community gatherings, activities and initiatives.

  • Community non-for-profit organizations registered under the Societies Act, Libraries Act or Agriculture Societies Act.
  • Community First Nation and Métis organizations and associations.
  • Individuals (must be a resident of Beaumont)
  • Ad hoc groups and Collectives (primary applicant must meet the criteria for individuals)

  • Request up to 100% of eligible expenses up to $1000
  • Applicants may apply to the funding stream at any time
  • Grant applications are reviewed on the 10th of each month with notification of grant approval on or before the 25th of the same month
  • Grant intake will close for the year when the total funding is allocated or December 31 each year
  • This program is competitive and eligibility does not guarantee funding
  • Funding may be approved in part or in full. Approved funding is a one-time commitment, and projects must be completed within 12 months.
