TOWN OF BEAUMONT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BYLAW NUMBER 921-18

The Council of the Town of Beaumont has given first reading to Bylaw 921-18 to amend Land Use Bylaw 796-12 to delegate decisions on development permits to the Development Authority for all existing Direct Control Districts that have regulations.

The Bylaw is available for viewing at www.beaumont.ab.ca/civicalerts.

A Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Beaumont Administration Office located at 5600 - 49 Street in the Town of Beaumont.

Procedure at the Public Hearing:

Presentation of the purpose and effect of the revision to the Land Use Bylaw.

Council will hear:

any person or group of persons acting on his or their behalf who claim to be affected by the proposed Bylaw;

any other person who wishes to make a presentation and whom the Council agrees to hear.

All written submissions received by the Supervisor, Legislative Services of the Town of Beaumont on or before noon on July 24, 2018 will be recognized prior to any oral submissions.  If you require further information and/or clarification with regard to this notice, please contact Lisa Drury, Planner at 780-929-3322.
