For the week of May 29, 2023 through June 4, 2023 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 58 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 Act, abandoned vehicle, assault, assistance to general public, assistance to Canadian Police (non-RCMP), assistance to Canadian Provincial/Territorial Dept/Agency, Child Welfare Act, dangerous driving, failure to comply with undertaking, false alarms, fraud, harassing communications, items lost/found, Mental Health Act, mischief – obstruct enjoyment of property, moving traffic intersection related, municipal bylaws, other moving traffic violations, other provincial/territorial statutes, other theft under $5000, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft under or equal to $5000, traffic collisions, and wellbeing check.
The Beaumont RCMP conducted 46 traffic stops, resulting in 3 violation tickets and 43 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.
The Beaumont RCMP would like to invite everyone to the RCMP open house on Saturday June 10th, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Come down to the Beaumont RCMP detachment for a BBQ while you are there you can check out the cell block, chat with local RCMP, and see all the vendors.
