The Council of the Town of Beaumont has given first reading to Bylaw No. 889-17 that if passed would allow development to proceed on Phase 7B in the Dansereau Meadows neighbourhood. Dansereau Meadows Phase 7B is being developed by Anthem United and is located in the northwest area of Dansereau Meadows, north of 65 Street, and east of Range Road 243.

DC-116 is intended to accommodate medium density residential development with the opportunity for local convenience retail and personal service businesses on the ground floor to support the day-to-day needs of neighbourhood residents.
