The City of Beaumont and our administration would like to extend our congratulations to Premier-elect Jason Kenney and all of Alberta’s newly elected candidates. As a new City and a member of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board, Beaumont is ready to work with you and your government to get Alberta growing and to improve our economy.
We would also like to congratulate Brad Rutherford as the successful candidate in Leduc-Beaumont from Tuesday’s election. Brad will be a tremendous addition to the United Conservative Party caucus, and we look forward to working with him on the needs of our community.
Beaumont is the fifth fastest growing community in Canada, and we need the support of all levels of government to meet our growing needs. We look forward to engaging with the newly elected government to partner on projects that benefit Beaumont and our residents.
We would also like to extend a sincere thanks to Premier Notley and Shaye Anderson as our MLA and as the Minister of Municipal Affairs. Over the last four years, Shaye has worked collaboratively to invest in our community and advocated for our best interests to build two new schools and advancing economic diversity in our region – all of which have helped establish long-term success and sustainability for our region. Your contribution, dedication and community engagement is very much appreciated.
