Active Commuting updatesConstruction updates Crews and contractors continue to kick-off and carry out spring construction projects around Beaumont. Here’s what they’re working on this week: Le Rêve traffic light installation: Work continues to install traffic lights at the intersection of 50 Street and Le Rêve Drive. Sidewalk closure – Eaglemont: A portion of the east sidewalk is closed this week for utility installation work on 64 Street and 55 Avenue. Use the west sidewalk for the detour. Spring clean-up: Crews are sweeping major roads this week and sweeping municipal building parking lots, weather permitting. Sidewalk closure – 30 Avenue: The north sidewalk on 30 Avenue between 55 and 60 Street is closed until April 24. Use the south sidewalk to detour. Pothole repairs: Crews are doing temporary pothole cold patch repairs in prioritized areas, weather permitting. Once the weather warms up and street sweeping is completed, permanent hot patch repairs will begin.
