Public Hearing: Bylaw 1055-24 – Land Use Bylaw Amendments

Public hearing January 14, 2025 at 6 pm: The purpose of proposed Bylaw 1055-24 Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw is to amend Bylaw 944-19 Our Zoning Blueprint: Land Use Bylaw as follows:

  • Reduce the number of allowed dwelling units on a low density residential lot in primarily residential districts from 4 to 3.
  • Introduce requirement for driveways serving Front Attached Garage Dwellings to be paired.
  • Rename “Zero Side Yard” as “Single Side Yard” throughout the bylaw.
  • Added block standards for Single Side Yard developments to prevent Single Side Yard Front Attached Garage products from being on both sides of the block
