Public hearing July 14, 2026 at 6 pm: There are two bylaws being considered at this public hearing: Bylaws 1110-26 and 1102-26.

Bylaw 1110-26 Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw: Tarpaulin Structure

The purpose of proposed Bylaw 1110-26 Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw is to add a definition for Tarpaulin Structures. City of Beaumont Land Use Bylaw 944-19 prohibits tarpaulin structures in residential districts. The proposed amendment adds a definition for tarpaulin structure to provide clarity on existing regulations for tent or tarpaulin structures, including exemptions.

Bylaw 1102-26 Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw: Parking Standards for Education Use

The purpose of proposed Bylaw 1102-26 Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw – Parking Standards for Education Use, is to amend Bylaw 944-19, Our Zoning Blueprint: Beaumont Land Use Bylaw by changing the minimum parking requirement for Education Use in Conventional Neighourhood District, Integrated Neighbourhood District, Mature Neighbourhood District, Main Street District, Commercial District and Business Light Industrial District.
