Neighbourhood Posted on: April 16, 2026 Beaumont’s Good Neighbour program recognizes residents who make a meaningful difference in their communities through kindness, generosity and everyday acts of service. This round, we are proud to recognize Jim Boudreau, nominated by seven of his neighbours. Jim’s nomination reflects a strong and consistent message from his community: he is always there. Whether it’s shoveling sidewalks and driveways, mowing lawns, or helping maintain a clean and welcoming street, Jim regularly steps in to support those around him without being asked. Neighbours describe him as someone who not only helps with physical tasks but also takes time to connect with people, check in on how they are doing and offer support wherever it’s needed. He is known for lending tools, offering rides and even teaching others how to care for their homes and yards. Jim also plays a role in helping neighbours come together, supporting communication and organizing discussions when community issues arise. His presence has helped foster a sense of safety, order and connection on the street. Across all nominations, one theme is clear: Jim doesn’t just live in the neighbourhood — he actively helps build and protect it. Congratulations, Jim Boudreau! Your generosity, leadership and commitment to others make a lasting impact on your community. Do you know someone in your community who deserves recognition? Nominate them for a Good Neighbour award!
