Government 2025 Municipal Election
The next municipal election will be held at the Beaumont Community Centre (5204 50 Avenue).
Candidate nominations closed September 22 at noon.

Those not on the permanent elector list must make a statement that the person is eligible to vote as an elector in the presence of an officer at the voting station, in the prescribed form, and can validate their identity and address of residence with one piece of photo identification*.
*Photo identification must be issued by a Canadian government, whether federal, provincial or local, or an agency of that government.
A special ballot is available for eligible voters who are registered and listed on the Permanent Electors Register and unable to vote during Advance Voting or on Election Day. Requesters will be provide packages with the special ballot which will include step by step instructions for completing the ballot, along with a return envelope for easy mailing.
Please note: Completed special ballots must be received by the Election Office no later than October 20, 2025 at 4:30 pm. Any special ballot packages that are incorrect or incomplete, or received after 4:30 pm on Monday, October 20, 2025 will not be accepted or counted.

This policy outlines the remuneration to City of Beaumont elected officials in recognition of the substantial time and effort required to fulfil the duties and responsibilities of their elected offices.
