Active Facility closures Planned maintenance at the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre (BSRC) will temporarily close the arena from June 27 to August 1. This maintenance work and facility upgrades help provide a safe, reliable and high-quality recreation experience for our community. Residents are welcome to use Arena 2 at the Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre (KNRRC) for all programming, including free drop-in programming, with ice available starting July 8. Please note: the July 31 and August 1 drop-ins have been cancelled. Existing bookings and affected user groups have been contacted directly. Project work will include: Compressor overhaul completed by CiMCO Deep cleaning and painting of dressing rooms Bench inspections and repairs Arena floor rubber replacement in player boxes Window, bleacher and player box cleaning Inspection of boards, bolts, nuts and screws Inspection of arena glass components
