Posted on: October 3, 2023 For the week of September 25, 2023, through to October 1, 2023, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 50 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; assault, assistance to the general public, disturbing the peace, false alarm, fraud, lost property, liquor offences, mischief, traffic violations, theft, traffic collisions, and wellbeing checks. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 8 traffic stops, resulting in 3 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act. Beaumont RCMP are inviting all youth to take part in the Beaumont RCMP colouring contest. Pictures will be displayed at the Beaumont RCMP detachment. Three lucky winners will win a gift basket. All entries are due by October 23, 2023. Beaumont RCMP would like to thank the youth who braved the weather and came out to the summer’s end positive ticketing event on Friday, September 29, 2023. The draw was made out of all the youth who received a positive ticket this summer. The two winners will be announced coming up! A domestic violence information night will be held on Tuesday, November 14 and 6:30 p.m. at the Beaumont Library. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
