For the week of February 28 through March 6, 2022, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 46 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included: 911 Act, assault, fail to stop or remain at accident scene, false alarms, fraud greater than $5,000, fraud less than $5,000, Mental Health Act, municipal bylaws, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, other moving traffic violations, other non-moving traffic violations, roadside suspensions – alcohol related, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft of truck, and traffic collisions – non-fatal injury, and property damage.
The Beaumont RCMP conducted 27 traffic stops, resulting in two charges under the Traffic Safety Act and two provincial roadside suspensions for alcohol.
