The Land Use Bylaw controls the use and development of land and buildings in Beaumont. The purpose of Bylaw 982-20 Ruisseau Redistricting is to amend the Land Use Bylaw by redistricting a portion of N.W. ¼ Section 27-50-24-W4M in the Ruisseau neighbourhood from Agricultural Holdings (AH) District to Conventional Neighborhood District (CN) and Integrated Neighborhood District (IN) to facilitate future development. The subject land is located in west Beaumont, east of Range Road 243 and north of the Montrose and Four Seasons Estates neighbourhoods.
The Integrated Neighborhood District is intended to accommodate a combined school/park site, and the Conventional Neighborhood District is intended for low density residential development, in accordance with the Ruisseau Outline Plan.
