Senior and student pass changes- effective March 1

Senior and student riders will no longer purchase separate monthly passes effective March 1. Please purchase an Arc card or use the tap-to-pay option.

Special considerations

  • Arc cards and paper ticket books are available for purchase at Beaumont’s Administration Office and the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre.
  • Cash fare must be paid in exact cash and deposited in the fare box.
  • ETS fare must be paid to get from Mill Woods Transit Centre to your final destination. Likewise, ETS transfers cannot be used for travel on Beaumont buses.
  • Beaumont Transit currently accepts U-Pass.
  • Beaumont Transit uses the Arc Program for adult, senior and non-U-pass student fares, which may result in changes to pricing and pass information. Paper passes will still be accepted until further notice.

U-Pass in Beaumont

Students at participating post-secondary institutions will be able to use their ARC Card distributed by their school to tap on/off buses and the LRT. Find complete details on the U-Pass program. This includes program information, pricing, Arc card details and more! 

Senior and student passes

Beaumont Transit will no longer sell separate passes for senior and non-U-Pass student fares. Seniors and students may:

  • Purchase a reloadable Arc card (available at Beaumont’s Administration Office and the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre) or
  • Use the tap-to-pay feature on buses.

Important: To receive the discounted rate, riders must: 

  1. Create a MyArc account and register their payment card/method to their MyArc profile.
  2. Appy for a “concession” fare to receive the senior or student rate.
