Aquatic Programs

The BSRC aquatic centre includes a six-lane main pool, leisure pool, dry and steam saunas and whirlpool.

Lane swimming update: Effective April 1, lane swimming will not be available during the following times:

Fridays: 3:15 to 7:30 pm,
Saturdays: 9 am to 1 pm,
Sundays: 9 am to 1 pm

Child supervision

Please note: patrons 7 years of age and younger must be within arm’s reach at all times, by a parent or guardian 14 years of age and older.

The group admission ratio is one guardian (14 years or older) with a maximum of 3 children under the age of 8.

Facility notes

All glass is prohibited in the pool changerooms, pool deck and while using the aquatic amenities. This includes but is not limited to drinkware, goggles and aquatic equipment.

Patrons wearing a kirpan, due to religious beliefs, must keep them sealed and secured on their person. Kirpans are prohibited from being worn while using the waterslide and diving board. Patrons will be asked to put them in their locker when it is not sealed and secured on their person.

Public swimming lessons

All un-parented program participants must:

  • have wristbands,
  • be properly supervised based on age and
  • wear proper swimwear to use any aquatic amenities before or after class.

Parented program class participants (Parent & Tot 1, 2 & 3) are permitted to use the whirlpool for 15 minutes after class.
