Posted on: October 1, 2024 For the week of September 23, 2024 through to September 29, 2024 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 87 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included: 911 Act, assault, assist general public, assist Canadian police (non-RCMP), breach of peace, break and enter- residence, Coroner’s Act, crime prevention, criminal harassment, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, Explosives Act, failure to comply with orders, failure to comply with undertaking, false alarms, fraud, items lost/found, kidnapping without firearm Mental Health Act, mischief – damage to property mischief – obstruct enjoyment, motor vehicle insurance coverage violations, moving traffic-speed violations, moving traffic-intersection violations, moving traffic-flight from Peace Officer, non-moving traffic- use of electronic handheld device, operation while impaired, other non-moving traffic, shoplifting, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft from mail, theft of motor vehicle, theft of sport utility vehicle, traffic collisions, uttering threats against a person, wellbeing check. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 39 traffic stops, resulting in 16 violation tickets and 24 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.
