City updatesNeighbourhood Posted on: March 2, 2026 The City of Beaumont continues to grow, and our infrastructure is evolving right along with it! To keep the city vibrant, functional and a safe place to call home, residents will start noticing spring and summer construction activity throughout the season, beginning in March. While crews continue to complete regular seasonal work, like snow removal and sanding, additional maintenance will begin as weather improves. This includes pothole repairs, road surface upkeep and line painting. The City’s 2026 budget also prioritized important infrastructure upgrades to support Beaumont’s expanding population with long-term system reliability. Many of these projects will begin once warmer, drier weather arrives. Investing in Beaumont’s future This year’s construction season focuses on essential maintenance and upgrades that keep Beaumont running smoothly, including: Regional water feed line extension: Expanding capacity to support increasing water demand as Beaumont grows. Pumphouse upgrades: Increasing capacity and upgrading pumps for reliable drinking water delivery.
