Posted on: October 16, 2023 For the week of October 9, 2023, through October 15, 2023, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 56 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 calls, assault with weapon, assist general public, assistance to non-RCMP agency, child pornography, disobeying order of court, disturbing the peace, EPO, harassing communications, identity fraud, Mental Health Act, mischief, moving traffic – speeding, other moving and non-moving traffic, other theft under $5000, possession for the purpose of trafficking, suspicious person/vehicle, theft of bicycle, traffic collisions, uttering threats, wellbeing check and YCJA offence. The Beaumont RCMP conducted 34 traffic stops, resulting in 5 violation tickets and 9 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act. On Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Beaumont RCMP and Beaumont FCSS will be at the Beaumont Library speaking on about domestic violence.
