Technology Support Program

FCSS has partnered with the Beaumont Public Library (Bibliothèque de Beaumont Libraryto provide lending options for those in need of computer device (Chromebook) and Internet access (WIFI hotspot). This program is meant to assist individuals in low income situations, vulnerable residents with no access to a computer or internet connection, and or families with no computer or internet access at their disposal. We understand how important it is to be able to access the internet. Our goal here is to provide you the support and devices required to help you:

  • Job hunt
  • Look up resources for work/school
  • Stay connected
  •  Access online classes/continuing education
  • Enjoy entertainment only available with computer and internet access

This program is referral based through our dedicated team at FCSS. Once a referral is obtained, you will be able to request a machine and WIFI hub from the library. Please note that a library card is required. If you don't have one, our amazing library staff can help set that up free of charge. To get started, please contact us directly at 780-929-1006

The purchase of Chromebook and WIFI hotspot technology was made possible through a Grant provided by the United Way. WIFI hotspots and data plans are provided by the Bibliothèque de Beaumont Library.
