FamiliesMayor statementYouth Posted on: June 2, 2025 “As we welcome the month of June, on behalf of Council, I am proud to recognize and celebrate Pride Month in the City of Beaumont. Pride Month is a time to honour the resilience, contributions, and voices of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. It is also a reminder of our responsibility to foster a community that is inclusive, compassionate, and welcoming for all people, regardless of their gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. In Beaumont, we believe that diversity strengthens our community. We are committed to building a city where everyone feels safe, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves. This year marks an exciting milestone as we host Pride in the Park—our first-ever community-focused Pride event. I invite residents to join us on June 6 at Centre-Ville Park for an evening of celebration, learning, and connection. Events like this play an important role in helping people feel seen, valued, and included in our community spaces and civic life. To our 2SLGBTQ+ neighbours, friends, and family members—we see you, we support you, and we stand with you. Happy Pride Month, Beaumont.”
