Proclamations have been signed by Mayor Bill Daneluik, containing messages of importance, interest or benefit to citizens of Beaumont.

WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont is proud of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region’s leadership in the life sciences sector, driven by its cutting-edge technology, expert workforce, and world-class educational institutions; 

AND WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont is confident that the Edmonton Region’s abundant talent, infrastructure, and resources will position Canada to support cutting-edge research in areas such as diabetes, virology, and precision health; 

AND WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont recognizes that empowering the next generation is at the heart of Alberta’s life sciences growth, and that Life Sciences Week presents an opportunity to engage and inspire future leaders in the industry; 

AND WHEREAS, this week-long event is a celebration of achievements and diversity, highlighting success stories, diverse perspectives, and forward-thinking initiatives that underscore the pivotal role of life sciences in shaping Alberta’s economic landscape and driving future prosperity; 

AND WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont stands ready to support the Edmonton Region’s success in driving innovation and making groundbreaking discoveries; 

AND WHEREAS, the Edmonton Region’s leaders in life sciences are coming together to celebrate, discuss and invest in the future of the sector during Life Sciences Week from September 22–26, 2025, in Alberta; 

AND WHEREAS, Life Sciences Week represents an opportunity for the Edmonton Region to forge connections, build lasting partnerships, and illuminate Alberta’s role at the forefront of global life sciences; 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT I, Mayor Bill Daneluik, do hereby proclaim September 22 to 26, 2025 as:
