Family Violence Prevention Month – November 2025

Beaumont City Council calls upon the citizens of Beaumont to Reach Out, Speak Out against family violence.

Proclamations have been signed by Mayor Lisa Vanderkwaak, containing messages of importance, interest or benefit to citizens of Beaumont.


WHEREAS, there are many people in Alberta who experience family violence; 

AND WHEREAS, the effects of family violence may be carried on from generation to generation; 

AND WHEREAS, all Albertans have a role to play in preventing family violence; 

AND WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont Family & Community Support Services works to prevent family violence through education and awareness; 

AND WHEREAS, the Beaumont City Council calls upon the citizens of Beaumont to Reach Out, Speak Out against family violence; and to make a difference by creating a culture of support for those affected by family violence; 

AND WHEREAS, the Beaumont City Council calls upon all Albertans to help make our province violence free in 2025 and beyond; 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT I, Mayor Vanderkwaak do hereby proclaim November 2025 as:
