The City of Beaumont welcomes Neuron Mobility as part of a two-year pilot project to offer residents and visitors a fun, active and convenient way to explore the city.

“Beaumont has many great local shops, restaurants, and scenic trails, and e-scooters offer a new way to enjoy it all,” said Mayor Bill Daneluik. “This pilot project gives us a chance to see how they work in Beaumont and hear what residents think before we make any long-term decisions.”

The City and Neuron Mobility are working together to outline where e-scooters can be used, how they should be parked, speed limits and the designated “no-go” zones.

Join the team from Neuron Mobility and City of Beaumont to learn more about the e-scooter pilot project at an open house during Beaumont Days on:

Friday, May 23
Ken Nichol Regional Recreation Centre (South parking lot)
5303 50 Street
4:30 to 8:30 pm

After learning more about the pilot, we want to hear from you! Share your thoughts on e-scooters in Beaumont by taking our two-minute survey. Your feedback will help us roll out the program smoothly mid-June.

This two-year pilot program is focused on encouraging safe, respectful riding while exploring how e-scooters can fit into the community. In addition to the initial pre-launch survey, residents will have opportunities to provide feedback through check-in surveys planned for Fall 2025 and Fall 2026. The program follows all applicable local bylaws and Alberta Transportation regulations.
