Council Posted on: October 1, 2025 Proclamations have been signed by Mayor Bill Daneluik, containing messages of importance, interest or benefit to citizens of Beaumont. WHEREAS, Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Canadian women, and is a serious disease that will affect 27,400 women, 240 men, and their families this year; AND WHEREAS, it is of great importance that money is raised for funding breast cancer research projects and community programs; AND WHEREAS, screening and early detection can reduce breast cancer mortality rates; AND WHEREAS, the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation strives to be an effective advocate, a trusted leader, a respectful partner and a resourceful catalyst in creating a future without breast cancer; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT I, Mayor Bill Daneluik, do hereby proclaim the month of October as: BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
