WHEREAS, January 21, 2026 marks the 16^th Annual Bell Let’s Talk Day, a day of conversation and mental health; 

AND WHEREAS, Bell Let’s Talk Day promotes mental health awareness, acceptance, and action built on 4 Key Pillars:

• Fighting Stigma,
• Improving Access to Care,
• Supporting World-Class Research, and
• Leading by Example in workplace mental health; 

AND WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont encourages its citizens to join the conversation through calls, texts, and social media interactions to drive Bell’s donation to mental health past $10 million;  

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT I, Mayor Lisa Vanderkwaak, do hereby proclaim January 21, 2026 as:
