City reportingProtective servicesRCMP Posted on: July 22, 2025 For the week of July 14, 2025 through to July 20, 2025, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 68 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included: 911 Act assaults, assistance to general public, assistance to non-RCMP, break and enter-residence, Child, Youth & Family Services Act, counterfeit money, criminal harassment, disturbing the peace, driving without due care, false alarm, fraud over $5000, impaired, Liquor Act, mischief – damage & obstruct, moving and non-moving traffic violations, moving traffic- other violations, theft – under $5000, traffic collision (MVC), uttering threats, well-being checks. Beaumont RCMP wants to remind individuals of the following while they are camping, on the lake, or enjoying their summer vacations: Never get behind the wheel when impaired. It is criminal and dangerous. Arrange a sober ride to and from your destination if you plan on drinking or consuming drugs. Do not operate off-highway or recreational vehicles while impaired, as well as boats and other heavy machinery. Community members can do their part to prevent impaired driving by following these safety tips this July and all summer long. If you witness or suspect an impaired driver, please call 911.
