Calling all youth ages 14-22!

Looking for a fun way to gain work or volunteer experience this summer? Join the Beaumont and District Agricultural Society at our facility fairground for our Youth Info Nights! Held on Saturday nights from 5 to 8 pm, you can expect a games, prizes, a free pizza supper, guest presentations on various agricultural topics and brainstorming for our new programming! We will also be doing a walking tour around our 71 acre property, so come prepared to explore! All are welcome to attend, we hope to see you there!

Thanks to a generous grant from the Canada Post Community Foundation, BADAS is able to start up youth programming, mainly a Youth Market Farm and a Youth Club with an executive committee. Youth participating in the Market Farm will get entrepreneurial experience as they work together to grow their own garden, and then sell it for profit! Youth on the Youth Club Executive Committee will get to work together to form a club, and plan events and promote agriculture with the youth of Beaumont and the surrounding region. Both will be supported by BADAS staff and volunteers.
