Active Commuting updatesConstruction updates City staff and crews continue to prepare for upcoming summer construction and infrastructure projects. In the meantime, here’s what crews and contractors are working on this week in Beaumont: Road closure and water outage April 10: 51 Avenue from 45 Street to 47 Street, along with a portion of 45 Street from 51 Avenue to 52 Avenue, will be closed for a water line repair. Select homes will be without water from 9 am to 4 pm during the repair. Impacted residents received notification on April 9. Le Rêve traffic light installation: Traffic light installation work continues at the intersection of 50 Street and Le Rêve Drive. Spring clean-up: Crews will continue sweeping municipal building parking lots and sidewalks as snow melts, with street sweeping on track to start April 15, weather permitting. Sidewalk and parking lane closures in Dansereau Landing: From April 1 to April 20, sections of Dansereau Way and 62 Avenue will be closed for utility work and siding installation on a private dwelling. Please stay alert for moving equipment during this time. Dansereau Way: East sidewalk and parking lane near 62 Avenue are closed. Use the west sidewalk for pedestrian detours. 62 Avenue: South sidewalk and parking lane approaching Dansereau Way closed.
