Active Tax notice Beaumont property owners who recently completed construction or major renovations will receive their Supplementary Assessment and Tax Notice by October 31, with payment due by December 1 to avoid late fees. Due to the Canada Post labour dispute, notices are being sent by courier, so they arrive on time. A supplementary assessment and property tax notice covers the portion of the year when a new or improved property has been occupied. The assessment is based on the final occupancy inspection date, so property taxes are shared fairly. This year, about 200 properties in Beaumont will receive a supplementary assessment and tax notice. Almost a third of the supplementary assessments and tax notices will be delivered by email to property owners as requested, and the remaining will be delivered by courier. Property tax payment reminder If you have outstanding 2025 property taxes, this is a courtesy reminder to pay by October 31, 2025 to avoid an additional 3% penalty.
