The adjoining sidewalk in front of the Beaumont & District Lions Skatepark is also closed during construction. Work is expected to be completed with the lane and sidewalk fully reopened by the end of Friday, February 27. Here’s what you need to know: The lane closure is being managed to minimize traffic delays during the evening commute. Neighbouring businesses remain accessible. Pedestrians can use the crosswalks at 52 Avenue and 55 Avenue and use the path along the east side of 50 Street to avoid the construction. The City is working with Alberta Broadband Networks to reduce disruptions as much as possible. Your patience and cooperation while this work is completed is appreciated.
