Navigating Tomorrow: Edmonton Region Household Travel Survey

Active Public engagement notice

-

Whether you walk, drive, bike, or take transit, your daily travel helps guide how our region plans transportation for the future.

Sometimes work, school, errands, appointments and recreation take us beyond city limits, which is why the City is working with regional partners to better understand travel patterns and plan safer streets, easier commutes and better service for everyone.

The Household Travel Survey

The City of Beaumont is participating in the 2025–26 Household Travel Survey to learn how people travel in the community and across the region. This information helps us plan and invest in transportation services in the future.

What to expect

A random sample of households in Beaumont are invited to take part; your participation is important. If your household is selected, you will receive a letter in the mail that includes:

  • Your unique access code for online survey completion
  • Information on how to participate online or by phone
  • Contact details for support or questions
  • Brochure with additional information on the survey process

Residents can also participate through a mobile app, an online portal or a telephone interview.
