The closure of 30 Avenue between 50 Street and Soleil Boulevard will now take place from October 1-14, 2025. A section of 30 Avenue between 50 Street and Soleil Boulevard will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians from September 29 to October 11, 2025, to support construction. The closure is expected to last about 13 days, weather and other factors permitting. This closure is needed to install important underground infrastructure, including water and sanitary services, to support new development in Place Chaleureuse. During the closure: Pedestrian access will remain open using the adjacent paved trail, with a short gravel section added to connect around the closure. Detour routes for vehicles will be available and clearly signed on surrounding roads. Local access to adjacent properties will be maintained where possible. Please follow posted signs, allow extra travel time, and use caution near the construction area. A detailed map showing closure limits, the temporary pedestrian trail, and vehicle detour routes is included. Your patience and care as you move through the area during construction is appreciated.
