Active Public engagement noticeTax notice Your input helps keep property assessments fair and accurate. Starting April 2, 2026, the City of Beaumont, in collaboration with Accurate Assessment Group (AAG), will mail property tax assessment surveys to approximately 1,890 local property owners. As part of a standard five-year cycle, the City contracts municipal accessors to survey 20% of local property owners annually. This partnership between the City and taxpayers helps make sure property tax assessments are based on the most accurate, firsthand information. By confirming basic information, recent renovations, or updates, residents provide the necessary information to keep property assessments fair for everyone. What you need to know: Check the mail: The surveys will begin arriving in mailboxes after April 2. Share your insight: Selected owners are asked to confirm details such as: square footage, bedroom and bathroom counts and any recent major upgrades. The result: Assessors combine this feedback with market data from July 1 to determine property values for the upcoming tax year. Deadline: If you receive a survey, please complete and submit it by June 2, 2026. Residents who do not receive a survey are not part of this year’s review and no action is required.
