This October, Beaumont will host the first-ever Junior Grand Slam of Curling, part of a double showcase of world-class events hitting the region.

From October 16 to 19, the Beaumont Curling Club will welcome rising junior athletes for the inaugural Junior Grand Slam of Curling. Just minutes away in Nisku, fans can also catch the sport’s top professionals at the Co-op Tour Challenge Grand Slam of Curling, running October 14 to 19 at the Silent Ice Centre.

“Sponsoring both of these events is a proud moment for Beaumont,” said Bill Daneluik, Mayor of Beaumont. “They energize the City by boosting our local economy, highlighting our community spirit, and they allow us to share Beaumont’s charm and city amenities with fans and athletes alike.”

That charm extends beyond the rink. Visitors can take in the city’s welcoming atmosphere by exploring local restaurants, cafés, and shops, many offering special promotions just a stone’s throw from the action.
