HomeownersTaxes Posted on: February 19, 2026 Assessment notices for 2026 have been sent to 9,451 property owners. Reviewing your assessment now gives you time to ask questions and understand your property’s value before tax bills are issued later this year. Your assessment reflects the estimated market value of your property as of July 31, 2025, based on recent property sales and other market data. The same valuation date and method are applied across the city to maintain fairness and consistency. After receiving the notice: Review your property details, Make sure the information about your property is accurate, and Compare your assessed value with similar properties using the Property Search tool. If the assessment accurately reflects the market value of your property as of July 31, 2025, no action is required. If you have questions about your assessment or would like to review it in more detail, contact the City at taxes@beaumont.ab.ca or 780-929-3306. An assessor can walk through how your property was valued and answer any questions. If, after that conversation, you feel your assessment does not reflect your property’s market value as of July 31, 2025, you may file a formal assessment appeal. The deadline to appeal is April 28, 2026. If you have not received your notice by February 28, 2026, contact the City using the information above. Read more about property tax assessment
