Bee Box Building Workshop

Come one, come all and join us for a Bee Box Building Workshop! We are partnering with Alberta Native Bee Council to help endangered bumblebees! You will learn how to identify, help and build habitat for bumblebees, Alberta’s most recognizable native bee! In Alberta, one bumblebee species is ranked as Critically Imperiled (Bombus bohemicus), and four are ranked as Vulnerable! And, more than one-quarter of North American bumble bees are facing some degree of extinction risk!

Each registration only includes one bee box, but you can attend with a friend. Participants aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Pre-registration is required and can be completed via Eventbrite. For more details, visit Beaumontagsociety.com.
