The Council of the Town of Beaumont has given first reading to Bylaw 914-18 that if passed would allow development to proceed on Phase 6 in the Triomphe Estates neighbourhood. Triomphe Estates Phase 6 is being developed by Triomphe Land Company Inc. and is located east of Triomphe Point and south of Triomphe Boulevard.
The Land Use Bylaw currently designates this area for Phase 6 as R1-A Low Density Residential District. To accommodate Phase 6 a number of new districts are proposed as shown on the Redistricting Map.
For more information about the proposed bylaw contact the Supervisor, Legislative Services between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Town of Beaumont Administration Office. The Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Town of Beaumont Administration Office located at 5600 - 49 Street, Beaumont AB. Procedure at the Public Hearing:
1. Presentation of the purpose and effect of the proposed Bylaw amendment.
2. Council will hear:
a) any person or group of persons acting on his or their behalf who claim to be affected by the proposed Bylaw;
b) any other person who wishes to make a presentation and whom the Council agrees to hear.
All written submissions received by the Supervisor, Legislative Services of the Town of Beaumont on or before noon on June 26, 2018 will be recognized prior to any oral submissions.
