Week in review Beaumont RCMP August 21 - August 28, 2023

For the week of August 21, 2023 through to August 28, 2023 the Beaumont RCMP responded to 70 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included; 911 Act – offences only, abandoned vehicle, false alarm, assault, assault with weapon, breach of peace, child pornography, dangerous driving, disobeying order, fail to stop/remain, frauds, items lost/found, Liquor Act, Mental Health Act, mischiefs, moving traffics, other-non moving, other theft under $5000, passport, roadside suspension, sexual interference, suspicious person, break and enter-residence, theft of SUV, traffic collisions, uttering threats, and wellbeing check.

The Beaumont RCMP conducted 33 traffic stops, resulting in 6 violation tickets and 0 warnings issued under the Traffic Safety Act.

On Saturday September 9, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Beaumont Citzens on Patrol and Beaumont RCMP will be in the Beaumont Home Hardware parking lot installing locking licence plate screws. Help protect yourself from becoming a victim, and stop by and get a plate screw for free.  

On Tuesday September 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Beaumont RCMP will be at the Beaumont Library giving a short presentation on Elder Abuse. Police will be there to answer all questions to elders on how to protect yourself from being a victim of elder abuse.

Police are reminding the public that school is back in on August 30, 2023. Please be extra cautious while driving to protect the students!
