2023 property tax notices issued

Beaumont property owners will receive their 2023 property tax notices shortly, as they were mailed May 31. The payment deadline is June 30. Any property owners who are enrolled in Beaumont’s tax installment plan will continue with their monthly payments as usual.

Property owners have different ways they can pay their taxes. Payment can be made at most financial institutions (including online and telephone banking) or by mail. Residents can also come to Beaumont City Hall during business hours to pay. More information on payment options is included with every tax notice.

Residents’ property tax notices also include taxes collected by the City of Beaumont on behalf of other organizations. These include:

  • Alberta School Foundation Fund;
  • St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Separate Regional School Division; and
  • Leduc Regional Housing Foundation.

Those tax rates are set by their respective authorities.

Property owners who do not receive their notice by June 16 should contact the City. Residents are also encouraged to contact City staff with any comments or questions by calling 780-929-3306 or emailing taxes@beaumont.ab.ca
