Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) is a unit of the Alberta Sheriffs that helps keep communities safe by dealing with problem properties that are being used for specific illegal activity, such as drug trafficking, prostitution, child exploitation and gang-related crime. The complaint has to come from a member of the community and not the police. To make a confidential report, contact SCAN at 1-866-960-7226, or you can visit the SCAN website for more information and reporting on-line: https://www.alberta.ca/report-suspicious-property.aspx

Beaumont residents are encouraged to view the RCMP Crime Mapping tool and can access the map through the City of Beaumont’s website at https://www.beaumont.ab.ca/532/Beaumont-RCMP-Crime-Map

The Beaumont RCMP encourages the public to report all criminal and suspicious activity. In case of an emergency, call 911, and for non-urgent reports, call the Beaumont RCMP Detachment complaint line at 780-929-7400. Your report helps us know where to look, who to look for and where to patrol in the future.
