[ARCHIVED] Notice of Public Hearing - Danserau Meadows Phase 11 Bylaw 935-19

Beaumont’s Council has given first reading to Bylaw 935-19 that if passed would allow development to proceed in the Dansereau Meadows neighbourhood. Dansereau Meadows Phase 11 is being developed by Anthem United and is located east of Range Road 243 and south of Township Road 510.

The Land Use Bylaw currently designates the area for Phase 11 as AR–Agriculture Reserve District, which is a holding district until such time as development is proposed. In order for development on Phase 11 to proceed, the Land Use Bylaw requires amendment from AR–Agriculture Reserve District to DC-118 – Dansereau Meadows Zero Lot line District as shown on the attached map. DC-118 – Dansereau Meadows Zero Lot Line District was originally approved on June 12, 2018 and enables single-detached housing with front attached or rear detached garages with reduced site widths by allowing one side setback to be reduced to zero.

For more information about the proposed bylaw contact the Supervisor, Legislative Services between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Beaumont Administration Office. The Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., in the Beaumont Council Chambers located at 5600 - 49 Street, Beaumont AB. The bylaw may also be viewed here: https://www.beaumont.ab.ca/DocumentCenter/View/2991/Bylaw-935-19
