Application Process


Human Resources is responsible for receiving all employment applications and resumes submitted. Review the job posting on our Careers page and let us know how your qualifications are a fit! Applications/resumes must be submitted on or before the closing date of the competition. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a detailed resume and cover letter outlining experience and qualifications through our careers inbox: careers@beaumont.ab.ca 

One resume or application should be submitted for each competition indicating the position title you are applying for in the subject line.

Due to the volume of applications received by Beaumont, we are unable to respond to every submission. Only the candidates that have been selected for further consideration will be contacted. Candidates not contacted within 3 weeks of the closing date are thanked for their interest and may consider the position filled.

Please note that the Municipality of Beaumont does not make a practice of retaining or responding to unsolicited applications for employment.

Policy on Hiring Seasonal Staff


We annually hire 20-30 staff for a variety of positions through the spring/summer season. The majority of these positions are posted in February and March. Areas of work include public works, parks and summer programs for children.
