From November 1-22, GFL Environmental is conducting an audit of our community's waste streams. Our aim is to minimize improper sorting of waste, thereby contributing to our environmental sustainability objectives, optimizing resource utilization, and mitigating safety hazards.
If your grey waste carts, blue recycling bags, or organic carts have a GFL sticker and were not picked up, this means you had too many improper items in your waste stream. To learn more about each stream and how you can properly sort, see below:
If you see a member of GFL's #TeaminGreen and have questions about your waste, don't hesitate to ask. They are here to help!
City of Beaumont Curbside Waste Collection Calendars
We currently have a Monday - Friday waste collection schedule. This schedule is split into two zones, with your household zone having specific dates and changes. Full details (including a map) can be found on our Beaumont Waste Program page here.
Garbage collection (grey waste cart) is bi-weekly, and organic collection (green waste cart) is weekly during the summer months and bi-weekly during the winter months. Recycling is picked up weekly.
Organics will remain on a weekly schedule until October 27 when it moves back to the regular bi-weekly schedule.
Recycling will remain on a weekly schedule all year long.
There will be waste pick up on all Statutory Holidays with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The rescheduled dates will be posted in December.
