Residents and businesses have a number of ways to manage their utility accounts and stay informed about planning and development notices during the Canada Post mail strike.

Utility bills

Utility customers are required to pay their bills on time during the mail strike. To avoid disruptions, customers are encouraged to sign up for e-billing, which delivers electronic statements directly to your email and allows customers to check their account balance online.

Customers have multiple option to pay their bills, including:

  • At most financial institutions
  • Online or over the phone with their bank
  • By setting up pre-authorized payments
  • Online through Beaumont’s Virtual City Hall
  • In person at Beaumont’s Administration Office or drop box at 5600 49 Street

Check your utility bill balance online, by emailing utilities@beaumont.ab.ca or calling 780-929-1351.

Planning & Development notices

Development-related notices will be updated weekly for transparency and accessibility.

For any development-related questions, please contact Planning and Development by email or call 780-929-8782.

The City of Beaumont is monitoring the situation and will update information on the website as it becomes available to maintain the continuity of services during the mail service disruption.
