NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

COUNCIL RESOLUTION

 

Pursuant to Council Policy #6, the Council of the Town of Beaumont has directed Administration to advertise a Public Hearing for a Development Permit in the Direct Control District located at Plan 972 0116, Lot 8 (18 Coloniale Gate) that, if approved, would allow for the operation of a home-based business.  All permit applications for this Direct Control District must be decided by Town Council. Council decisions are not appealable to the Subdivision Development Appeal Board.  The Development Permit Application and proposed conditions can be viewed in its entirety at https://ab-beaumont.civicplus.com/DocumentCenter/View/1832

Development Permit in the Direct Control District


The Public Hearing will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the Beaumont Administration Office located at 5600 - 49 Street in the Town of Beaumont.

Procedure at the Public Hearing:

Presentation of the purpose and effect of the proposed Development Permit.

Council will hear:

any person or group of persons acting on their behalf who claim to be affected by the proposed development;

any other person who wishes to make a presentation and whom the Council agrees to hear.

All written submissions received by the Supervisor, Legislative Services of the Town of Beaumont on or before noon on March 21, 2018, will be recognized prior to any oral submissions.  If you require further information and/or clarification with regard to this notice, please contact Patricia Lauzé, Development Officer at 780-929-1354.
