Posted on: July 27, 2022 For the week of July 18 through July 24, 2022, the Beaumont RCMP responded to 67 calls for service. Some of the calls for service included 911 Act offences, animal calls, assault, assistance to general public, assistance to Canadian police (non-RCMP), breach of peace, fail to stop or remain at the accident scene, Fire Prevention Act, fraud, information file, Mental Health Act, mischief-damage to property and obstruct, moving traffic/intersection-related violations and speeding violations, other moving and non-moving violations, possession of property obtained by crime, suspicious person/vehicle/property, theft of minivan, traffic collisions, and wellbeing check.The Beaumont RCMP conducted 36 traffic stops, resulting in one charge and three warnings under the Traffic Safety Act.Beaumont residents are encouraged to view the RCMP Crime Mapping tool HERE.The Beaumont RCMP encourages the public to report all criminal and suspicious activity.
