DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an afternoon of family fun at the BSRC with free activities for all ages\, including skating\, swimming\, coed lacrosse\, basketball games\, climbing\, crafts\, glitter tattoos and more. \nPublic skating\nLace up your skates and glide across the ice! Helmets are required for kids 17 and under\, and skate aids are available for beginners. Flood at 2:30 pm if needed. Review the arena rules >> \nPublic swim\nSwimming is perfect for kids and adults to burn energy\, practice water skills\, and have fun in a safe\, supervised environment. Supervision rules: \n\n7 years and younger must be supervised and within arm’s reach of a guardian 14 years of age and older\n14 years of age or older can supervise a maximum of 3 children under the age of 8\n\nLacrosse with the Beaumont Raiders\nLearn Canada’s fastest-growing sport! Sessions are organized by age group: \n\nUnder 7: noon to 1 pm\nUnder 9: 1 to 2 pm\nUnder 11: 2 to 3 pm\nUnder 13: 3 pm to 4 pm\n\nSticks will be provided but CSA-approved helmets and indoor shoes* are required. \nGymnasium games\nEast side: Sportball is excited to host games and activities for ages 3-7!\nWest side: NBA All-Star style obstacle course with the Beaumont Youth Basketball Association – test agility\, speed\, and balance! \nIndoor shoes* are required. \n*NOTE: Appropriate indoor shoes are fully enclosed (no bare or socked toes showing)\, clean and non-marking. \nChantal Bérubé Youth Centre (CBYC) Dungeon Zone\nThe CBYC will bring your imagination to life with a 30 minute intro into Dungeon & Dragons. \nThe Arch Climbing Wall\nReach new heights at the climbing wall!
